on the number line make a perpendicular on "-3" of 1 unit
connect that point to 0
the line will be of √10

base square + perpendicular square = hypothesis square
hypothesis = √(9+1)
hypothesis=√10
now from "0" put the point of compass and put pencil on the perpendicular
and make a circle
where the circle intersect positive integer
that point will be √10
now
from √10 make a perpendicular of 1 unit
and joint it with zero
it will be √11
now put it on number line
with the help of compass
