Construction :

Draw AB= 8 Cm

BC= 6 cm perpendicular to AB with ∠B= 90°

Now as per Pythagoras theorem Length AC= √(AB²+BC²)

=√ 64+36= √100= 10 cm

Draw a line BD ⊥ AC

Draw a circle passing through the points B, D & A. Here we see that center of circle is on line AB at the mid point with AB as diameter of circle and  ΔBDA is also a right angled triangle.  

According to Thales theorem "The diameter of a circle always subtends a right angle to any point on the circle"

Therefore, as given ∠B= 90° and CB ⊥ AB which is tangent to circle with diameter AB.

CB is tangent of the circle.

Hence proved.
