Hi,

Solution:

Steps of construction:

  1. Draw base line ZW of 5 cm length.
  2. measure a length of 4 cm with compass and mark an arc with point Z for point Y, and measure the length of 6.5 cm with compass and make an arc from point W to Y. where both arc intersect mark point Y.
  3. Measure a length of 4.5 cm with compass and mark an arc with point W for point X, and measure the length of 6 cm with compass and make an arc from point Z to X. where both arc intersect mark point X.
  4. Now, you have four points viz ZWXY connect each with other. To confirm check the length of each point with scale.

Hope you understand well.
