how to convert 24 hour clock to 12 hour...and do we know which hour is am or pm ?

In 24 hour clock, numbers from 13 to 24 are pm and 1 to 12 are am. If you want to convert 24 hour clock into 12 hour clock, subtract 12 from 24 hour clock numbers.

For example,

If you want to convert 1600 hours into 12 hour clock, subtract 12 from 16

So we get 16-12 = 4 pm

If the time is less than 13 then in 12h clock it would be same... Else subtract 12h from the time..
Eg
If time is 16:30
16 - 12 = 4
So time would 4 : 30 pm
