for converting the direct speech into indirect speech, first you have to deal with the sentence which is in the inverted commas.

for example-she said,"l love cooking."

in that case first you have to to change the sentence "I love cooking" into indirect.

then the answer will be-she told that she loves cooking.

don't forget to to add that when you who make the sentence indirect.
