for single element the molar mass is equivalent to its atomic weight multiplied by molar mass constant 1G/mol
for compound the molar mass is the sum of atomic weight of each element in the compound multiplied by molar mass constant

mass = moles × molar mass
for ex. if u have given 0.5 moles of calcium.
molar mass of calcium= 40 g
mass = 0.5× 40g
