Rpm = revolution per minute. Assuming that a particles or objects makes a rotation about 1 complete circle; where 1 circle is equivalent to  2π, so 2π rad/ min or 2π rad/60s.

Hope this helps you.

convert RPM to radians per second?

1 rpm = 2(pi)/60 = pi/30 radians per second.

Multiply by 2π, divide by 60.

I revolution is equal to 2π radians , where π =3.14...., so if you want to rpm in radians per second. convert revolutions to 2π and minutes to second

1 revolution/ min = 2π / 60 seconds = π/ 30  radians per sec = 0.10471975512 radians  per second.
