RPM = revolution per minute

So first of all convert RPM in to RPS by dividing 60 .

Now anglura velocity is given by,

omega=2π×(rps)…..radian/second

Linear velocity is given by

V=omega ×radius

V=r×2π×(rps)……m/s

Hope it helps.
Cheers :)

To converts revolution per minute to meters per second divide revolutions per minute by 60.

  • In a minute, how many times something completes a round is represented using the term revolution per minute.
  • By knowing the object's speed in meters per minute and the circumference we can find out the rpm.
  • For example, if speed is 1500, and circumference is 300 then the rpm will be 1500/300 equal to 50rpm.
  • To convert that rpm into m/s divide the rpm 50 by 60
