Answer:

1.

To convert m/sec into km/hr, multiply the number by 18 and then divide it by 5 i.e.,18/5.

Example:- Convert 30m/s to km/hr.

 =  > 30 \times  \frac{18}{5}

 =  > 108 \:  \: km \: per \: hr

To convert km/hr into m/sec, multiply the number by 5 and then divide it by 18 i.e., 5/18.

Example :- Convert 72 km/hr in m/s

 =  > 72 \times  \frac{5}{18}

 =  > 20 \: m \: per \: sec

2.To plot in a distance-time graph-

  • Determine the maximum quantity to be taken on each axis.
  • Divide this maximum quantity in smaller equal parts, so that it is easy to mark the points.
  • Try to draw the graph so that it covers maximum paper space which will make it look clean.

Yes, both 1000/3600 and 18/5 are right for conversion but the latter one,i.e.,1000/3600 is lengthy.It will take more time.

Therefore,it is not used commonly.
