1.There are several ways to type hindi in ms word. One is click on font box in top left and select one of following font “Mangal, Devnagri (देवनागरी)”. And its done now you can type in Hindi font. But typing is way hard to do this way.

2. Now comes to the Google, google really made things easy. Just follow the link Google Input Tools and select your language and processing system and download the input tool. That's it now you can press “window key + space key” anytime to switch typing language from English to Hindi. This is far better mathod then the first one. By google input tool you can type the way you type in hinglish. For instance if you want to write “kya kar rahe ho?” By using input tool you will have to type same in keyboard but it will turn into hindi font after each space bar.
