how to create a duplicate layer I computer?

Right click the layer in the layers palette and choose duplicate layer from the drop down list that appears.

Click the layer options (top right on the layers palette) and choose duplicate layer

Drag the layer onto the new layer icon at the bottom of the layers palette.

Go to the top menu and choose Layer > Duplicate layer
5.
With the marquee, lasso or crop tool selected right click the canvas and choose duplicate layer.

7. ctrl+alt and drag the layer
To create a duplicate layer in Photoshop,click and drag the layer in the Layers panel. Then drop it on top of the "CREATE A NEW LAYER"button in tha Layers panel.Alternatively,create "LAYER DUPLICATE LAYER"from the Menu Bar to open the "DUPLICATE LAYER"dialog box
