1) India needs the best teachers at the primary, secondary, higher secondary, & college levels.Educational institutions needs the proper minimal infrastructure, like libraries, play grounds, facilities like having N.C.C.,laboratories with its paraphernalia - which is lacking in most of them.
2) All state govt. will have to be mandated to run a single central syllabus, & not their version of it. The state text books contain ample mistakes in them, this confuses the teachers & the students.
3) All teachers should have at least 10 years of research experience, only then they will be able to clear all doubts in the minds of the students. Anything less than this is not desirable.
4) All the Principals, District Educational Officers, Education Dept. Secretary need to PhD in science subjects, so that they can understand the schemes, proposals & can implement them properly.
5) There has to be a system of giving regular training to teachers after every 3 years to make them up date in their respective subjects & make the teachers to undergo them.
6) The brighter & hard working among the under graduates should be included in the teacher's research projects - which each of the teachers be mandated to take at least one.
7) There has to be a think tank in the country for the development of each of the problems, ideas that churn out of research, problems faced by educationists, novel methods in education, for each of the towns, cities, districts & small centres.
8) Retired persons have a lot of their knowledge & experience to give to the younger generation. Today all of these are going waster. They have to be roped in, to give a helping hand to these problems.
