As a world’s 7th largest economy and having world’s 2nd highest population , India as a developing nation still has to achieve so many things in creating world’s best human resource.

According to economic survey 40–50% people are still performing agricutural based activities creating disguised unemployment which is contributing only 16–17% to GDP of India .

In industrial sector also ,small amount of population is still contributing but not to its great extent.

However , newly emerged service sectorinvolves only 25–30% of people which contributes to around 55–60% in the GDP.

Thus from this data it is clear that we need to shift no.of people working in ‘agiculture’ sector to ‘Industry’ and ‘service’ sector.

To achieve this we need to promote :

1.maximum no. of core industries which will create huge demand for labours, professionals, technicians and even entrepreneurs

eg. Section of agriculture based population can be shifted to Food processing and other allied industries ,etc

2. Promoting professionals to IT ,management, medical services ,etc

I know with such an large no. of population and very handful of public /private sector employments , very huge amount of graduates , post graduate holders are not able to find job .

It is paradoxical to say that on one side there is unemployment in technically qualified person and on the other hand there is a scarcity of technical skills required for an economic growth of a particular sector company .

Thus on both sides they are searching to fulfil their demands . That is why today lacks of Engineering graduates are no where . They even are ready to work for 10–12k salary per month . The main reason for all this problems is ‘ lack of skills ‘ …..Our education system is somewhere lagging to fulfil today’s industry demands .

#So to tackle all this situations some suggestions that I feel necessary are :

1.Our education system must learn diffrence between an ‘information’ and ‘knowledge’ and it must be imrove to impart quality educationto leading youth of our country .

2. Government must promote skill development to the grass root level and alsoentrepreneurs should get sufficient capital for their innovative business ideas. ( Only approval of the new schemes and allocation of huge amount of money for this will not be accepted but actual implementation is needed from government side .)

3. Government should held programmes for motivating youth and unemployed graduates to guide them that ……how their superficial knowledge could be utilize very efficiently to seek better employment opportunities . So that our ‘demographic dividend’ would not turned out to be a ‘demographic diasaster’ for next 25 years .
