There are many ways to create more employment and also better conditions in urban areas. They are :



•One way is to locate and promote industries and services in semi rural areas. This alone can create a lot of employment.



•A study shows that only 52% of the children in India are attending school. So to make the rest of the children attend school, we would need more schools, staffs, teachers, services, etc. A study by the Planning Commission says that the education sector can alone create about 20 lakh jobs.



•Similarly, we can improve the health situation by bringing more hospitals, doctors, nurses, facilities, etc.



•Planning Commission says that if tourism is improved, every year we can give additional employment to more than 35 lakh people.
