¤¤ here is your answer
•••••`•••••••••••••••••
••• Eleminition method :-
•••In this method we simply multiply the coefficients of X and Y .In this method one variable cancels out. Then in order to find the value of other variable simply subsitutue the value of another variable.
____________________
¤¤ For Example :-
x+y=2. .............1st equation
2x+4y=8 ..............2nd equation
Multiply 1st equation with 2
2(x+y=2)
2x+4y=8
2x+2y=4
2x+4y=8
subtract both
2x will be cancelled out then the answer is
-2y=-4
y=4/2=2
Now put value of y in 1st equation
x+y=2
x+(2)=2
x=0

¤¤ Substitution method :-
In this method we substitute one variable's in other equation
____________________
For Example :-same equation
x+y=2
2x+4y=8
x=2-y
put value of x in other equation
2(2-y) +4y=8
4-2y+4y=8
4-8+2y=0
-4+2y=0
2y=4
y=2
.put value of y in 1st equation
x+y=2
x+2=2
x=0
¤¤ hope it is satisfactory.. !!
