we can determine the poles of a solenoid by bringing a bar magnet closer to it like if we will bring close south pole then if it repels it should be the same pole or if it attracts it can be north pole

WE CAN DETERMINE THE POLES OF THE SOLENOID BY WATCHING THE BATTERY TERMINALS THAT YOU HAVE CONNECTED WITH SOLENOID.
