How to determine the value of log of 25 to the base 5?

as \: we \: know \\ log_{a}(b) = x \: then \\ {a}^{x} = b \\ so \: given \\ log_{5}(25) = y \\ then \\ {5}^{y} = 25 \\ y = 2
hence the value is 2

Let x=log25(5)

=>
25^x = 5

=>x = 1/2

=>
x=0.5
