How to determine type of sentence

There are four types of sentences.
They are
1) Declarative or Assertive sentence
2) Imperative sentence.
3) Interrogative sentence.
4) Exclamatory sentence.

The sign of declarative sentence is ' . '
It is used in writing simple sentences.
Ex. I am writing a letter.

The sign of Imperative sentence is also ' . '
This is used in giving order, request, command.
Ex . Please, shut the door.

The sign of interrogative sentence is ' ? '
This is used in asking some questions.
Ex. What is your name?

The sign of exclamatory sentence is ' ! '
This is used when we are shocked of something.
Ex. Wow! what a beautiful flower.

If a Sentence is a statement, it is assertive /Declaration sentence. ex :-Rima is going to school
If a sentence uses exclamatory marks such Oh!
hurray!, it is exclamatory sentence. ex Hurray! We won the game
If a sentence is giving an order or it is a request, it is imperative sentence . Go and clean your room
If a sentence is asking a question, it is interrogative sentence,it has ? at its end. ex How are you?
