how to determine vibhakti of the object in a sentence in Sanskrit?​

For determining vibhakti of word you must byheart charts of vibhakti of word ending differently.

1. Read the word.

2. Identify it's root word.

3. Identify root word's gender.

4. Identify root word's end such as अकारान्तः ,

आकारान्तः , इकारान्तः , ईकारान्तः ,-------.

5. Finding the word from vibhakti chart whose

ending and gender is same.

Explanation:

Suppose we have to determine vibhakti of word - पाठशालायाम्

step 2 - पाठशाला

step 3 - स्त्रीलिङ्गम्

step 4 - It is आकारान्तः word.

step 5 - The word माला is same as

पाठशाला in gender and ending.

Therefore from above chart , the

vibhakti of पाठशालायाम् is सप्तमी

and वचनम् - एकवचनम्।
