Encourage the child to write down all feelings. Encourage children to write notes. Copy their liked poems, songs and stories. Ask them to do painting and drawing. That is hard for some children as they want to talk but not write. Some discipline is needed. When you reward the child for writing anything, then the child will have more incentive to practice writing.
Encourage children to write letters on paper. Give them writing copy books. Ask them to write words and letters beautifully and carefully. Initially that is slow. They need more encouragement and perhaps you need to sit with them patiently.
They need emotional stability and peaceful environment. Also, they should not be in a hurry or have some other things in mind. Then they can write better.
