The process is explanation in below.

Given:

PV^{\gamma } = constant process

To find:

How to differentiate PV^{\gamma }

Formula used:

log(a^{b}) = b log(a)

Explanation:

PV^{\gamma } = constant this is the adiabatic reversible process. In this process the heat is not transferred from system to surrounding or surrounding to system

This can be differentiated by using logarithmic formula principle.

From the above formula

log(a^{b}) = b log(a)

log(PV^{\gamma }) = log(constant)

\gamma log(PV) = log(constant)

We can differentiate it with multiplication rule of differentiation.
