1)When sodium chloride solution is treated with silver nitrate solution ,a white precipitation is formed which is soluble in excess ammonium chloride solution.
2)when barium chloride is added to the sodium sulphate solution a precipitate is formed which is insoluble in all mineral acids

BaCl2 + Na2SO4 → BaSO4 (precipitate) + 2NaCl
where as
While sodium chloride does not react with barium chloride.
