  • As per the data given in the question, we have to determine the value of the given expression.

       Given data:- 1.2\div4.

To find:- the value of the given expression.

       Solution:-

  • Here, we will use BODMAS RULE.
  • BODMAS RULE:- It is a correct order to solve the mathematical expression.
  • Where, B stands for bracket
  • O stands for of
  • D stands for divide
  • M stands for multiplication
  • A stands for addition
  • S stands for subtraction.
  • Here we will replace decimal by multiplying with 10 to both numerator and denominator. we get,

         =\frac{1.2}{4}\\=\frac{1.2\times10}{4\times10}\\=\frac{12}{40}\\=\frac{7}{20}\\= 0.35.

Hence, the value will be 0.35.

As we know that the data given below is provided in the question,

In the above question, it is given that,

The given equation is 1.2÷4.

Here we have to divide the given equation.

We have to use the ratio to divide the equation.

Thus, the given equation can be written in ratio form,

=\frac{1.2}{4}

Shifting the decimal to one right to divide we get,

=\frac{12}{40} \\=\frac{3}{10} (when divided by 4)

Therefore we get,=0.3

Hence after dividing \frac{1.2}{4} we get the value as 0.3
