For drawing an ogive graph...first create the less than or more than frequency distribution table (as per the question requirements whether less or more) then plot the coordinates....
Now.. suppose if there is..
40-50______3
50-60______8
then here for a less than type table
Less than 50_____3
Less than 60_____8+3=11
and for a more than type...
More than 50______8
More than 40______11
Now.. suppose if there is..

Ogive are of two types
Less than type
More than type
In less than type graph ,
(upper limit , corresponding cumulative frequency) are plotted on ( x-axis , y-axis)
In more than type ,
(lower limit , corresponding cumulative frequency) are plotted on ( x-axis , y-axis ).
Now we have got the coordinates , join them with free hands.
