5x/3=4/7
5x*7=3*4
35x=12
x=12/35

U just need to multiply the denominator part of a fraction on one side with the numerator fraction on other side,

Cross multiplication is also known as cramer's rule .

It will be clear with an example

2/3 = 9/ x
= 2× x = 9 × 3
= x = 27/2 = 13.5
