At first , perform prime factorization of given numbers and then take out the common factors of both the numbers multiply them and you will get LCM and then Multiply the remaining numbers with HCF to get LCM

Check the example below to get a clear idea :-

8 = 2 x 2 x 2

12 = 2 x 2 x 3

Common factors are : 2 x 2 = 4

\sf\red{↠}Therefore , HCF = 4

LCM = HCF x Remaining numbers

LCM = 4 x 3 x 2

\sf\red{↠}LCM = 24

Answer:

HCF=Common factors of given number

LCM=HCF×Other factors of given number

24=2×2×2×3

16=2×2×2×2

HCF=2×2×2=8

LCM=2×2×2×2×3=48
