How to Use Notepad With HTML

Open a new Notepad document.

Write some HTML in the document.

To save the file, select File in the Notepad menu and then Save as.

Enter the name index.htm and select UTF-8 in the Encoding drop-down menu.

Use either .html or .htm for the extension
