Remember these formulas:

Perimeter of rectangle=2(l+b)

area of rectangle=l*b

perimeter of square=4*l

area of square=side*side

All four sides of a square are same

Opposite sides of a rectangle are same

Note: here l=length b=breadth

Now in ques 1

Each Side=6, So,its a square

Perimeter of square = 4 * side = 4*6=24cm²

Area of Square = side * side = 6 * 6 = 36 cm²

Do second question yourself

In ques 3

As it can be seen from the figure that its a square (All four sides are equal)

Therefore , Area of square = side²

400 = side²

putting square root on both sides we get

20cm = side

Now perimeter of square = 4 *side

4 * 20=80 cm

Do ques 4 by yourself
