a. angle PRA + angle ARS = 180 degree( linear pair)
50 degree+ angle ARS = 180degree
angle ARS = 180degree - 50 degree = 130 degree
angle ARS = angle RSD = 130 degree( alternate interior angles)

I don't know (b)

SO I am really really sorry

leo24: b)y=63degree,x=122degree
leo24: Ans.of B

in the first figure...the value of x is 130
because the sum of angles in a linear pair is 180
so..sum of anglePRA and angleARS is 180
50+x=180
x=130
and the value of y is 130
because vertically opposite angles are equal

in the second figure
sum of angleRSB and angleSRD will be 180
so...
y-5+2y-4=180
3y-9=180
3y=189
y=189/3
y=63
sum of anglePSB and angleBSR is 180[linear pair]
x+y-5=180
x+63-5=180
x+58=180
x=122
