Hence, a + (-a) = (-a) + a = 0, where a can be rational number or natural number or whole numberof integer. Reciprocal orMultiplicative inverse: Dividing anumber by 1 is the multiplicative inverse for Rational, natural, wholenumbers and integers, since multiplying it to the originalnumber always results in 1.
