how to do pencil shading


nirmalsamannan: If u need a smooth shadings... Keep u r pencils in 30 degree angel. Scribble hatchings r cross hatchings not so hard darwing just feather touch where u needed and take a small peace of white paper rubb the hatching... walla! Now u got a smooth shading... Try it out machi
Anonymous: If u r a beginner, try out pencil shading with a general HB pencil or B numbered pencils..Don't try using H pencils or penpencils in the initial stages..U may even use sharpened pencil lead powder to make wider shadings simpler...ALL THE BEST!!

Pencil shading is really very easy if you have interest in drawing. No matter what image you're going to draw give a geometrical base for it. Slowly give your desired outline for the figure which you're going to draw. Darken the outline and give appropriate shading for the different areas, smudge them if you want( but don't smudge too much!) rub out the areas where you feel it needs to be a bit light. Add some final touches too!
