Answer:

Concentration and practice!!!

  • If you are using a reference to draw you might want to make an almost identical copy of it. You can use guidelines like a grid.
  • A grid is basically horizontal and vertical tabs which can be edited on the  photo if the image is on a phone and drawn on if it is a photo on paper.
  • You might want to start drawing light. I use either a H or a HB pencil when I do outlines, you can use the same!
  • When you look at an image look at each element as different shapes rather than the object it is. Many people stereotypical ways of looking at things. An example is an eye, people just draw an oval with tapering ends and a circle inside it and call it an eye. That is a stereotype! Not all eyes look the same.
  • You can use masking tape incase you don't want your paint or any other material you are using to go outside the desired region. But make sure the masking take is not too sticky as it will tear the paper. A tip I can give on that is to cut the piece of masking tape you are going to use and stick it on a cloth, whatever is near you, even on your tee or pants! It reduces the stickiness, do that for around three or four times then stick it on your paper, it is less likely to tear.
  • Closely watch the observe the drawing. There are always minute details you might want to add to make it look more real.
  • Another tip I can give you is 'turn the image upside down!'. When drawing you may not notice some mistakes which you will most probably notice when you turn the image and your drawing upside down THEN COMPARE. Another way to start with a fresh eye is TAKE A BREAK! Maybe have some snacks or have a cup of coffee and come back. Looking at drawings with a fresh eye helps you mistakes you didn't before.
  • Ask help. When you are in your final stage of finishing ask someone their opinion, they might want to make changes that might actually improve your drawing.
  • And lastly practice. Don't entertain the negativity that people give you and push on, your efforts will surely lead you to success. As the saying goes "Practice makes a man perfect".

Hope these tips helped you!
