So each time you perform an operation on fractions and your answer ends up as an improper fraction, you will usually need tosimplify your answer. The results will be in the form of a mixed number. So to convert an improper fraction into a mixed number, we just divide the numerator by the denominator.

U can do simplification using the BODMAS rule.
1. Solve the brackets
2. Solve the of (kind of multiplication)
3. Do the division
4. Do the multiplication ( Do not confuse it with of)
5. Do te addition
6. Lastly perform the subtraction

hope it helps
