how to do the addition and subtraction of fractions

at first take lcm of denominators

than

divid the lcm from denominator of a fraction and multiply the result with the numerator of same fraction

do the same with another and than add or subtract the results

After the LCM has been taken out, multiply the fractions with such a number that denominator would be the same of LCM...For eg. If your LCM is 6 and one of the denominator is 3, then multiply 3 by 2 so that you would get 6,which is the LCM

Once the denominators are same, add or substract numerators..

Do the same process in both Addition and Subtraction
