How to do the sum (the shadow of a vertical tower on a level ground increases by 10 when the altitude of the sun changes from 45 degree to 30 degree. find the height of the tower, correct to two decimal places?

In △ABC,
h/x = tan45
h = x −−−−−−−−−(1)
In △ABD,
h/(x+10) = tan30
h root 3 = x+10 = h + 10 −−−−{using (1)}

h = \frac{10( \sqrt{3} + 1)}{2} = 5( \sqrt{3} + 1)

h = 5(1.73+ 1) = 13.65 m

Height of tower = 13.65 m
