CP of 10 chair is equal to SP of 16 chairs
Cp of 1 chair =Sp of 10/16 chairs
Cp/Sp=10/16
Find % multiply by 100
Also so is greater than sp therefore there is a profit,
Profit %= (10/16)*100
=62.5% profit

Let the cost price of the single chair be x.

Given that cp of 10 chairs = sp of 16 chairs.

SP of 16 chairs = 10x.

SP of 1 chair = 10x/16

We know that Loss = CP - SP

                                 = x - 10x/16

                                 = 16x - 10x/16

                                 = 3x/8.

We know that Loss % = Loss/SP * 100

                                    = 3x/8/x * 100

                                    = 3x/8x * 100

                                    = 75/2

                                   = 37.5.

Hope this helps!
