-2/9 = x/63......at first solve this and find out the value of x....ok the answer is -14

and now you have to solve....-14/63 = y/81 and find y......the answer is -18....ok

(I) -14/63= -18/81
(ii) 12/28= -21/-49
all fractions are equal to each other so it should be equivalent to -2/9 in first eq. and other should be equivalent to-3/ -7 in second eq...
