(construction) first draw a circle of radius 5 cm and then draw a circle with with radius 7cm by not changing the centre.
but the width of the track is 2cm since the difference of the two radii (7-5=2)
how did you know thst we gotta take 5cm and 7 cm?

because when diameter is given we can find the radius by dividing the diameter by 2 so 10/2 is 5 and 14/2 is 7

=>Inner diameter = 10 cm
=>Inner radius = 5cm
=>Outer diameter =14cm
=>Outer radius = 7cm.
=>Width of the track =Outer radius - Inner radius.
=>Width of the track = (7-5)cm
=>2cm.
