From my side i will suggest you to just memorise tge table first....and remember identities (its very simple)..If you are facing problems in proving identities questions......then..

1. if 1 is there in the ques replace it with the identity

ex. cos theta +sin theta-1/cos theta +sin theta +1.

replace 1 with sin²theta + cos²theta ...take common... you will get your ans...

2. If the resultant contains sin or cos...cahge everything in sin cos.
