Let these arcs meet line PQ at R and S as shown in figure.

Step 3. Now making R as centre, draw an arc using compass above

PQ

Using same radius draw another arc using compass above

PQ making S as centre.

Let these arcs meet at B as shown in figure. Now using a

ruler, draw a line that is passing through AB upto line PQ.

This line which is passing through A and B is perpendicular

to PQ.
