1. At first, try to draw out line of the map roughly without any waves.

2. Then draw waves on that roughly figure

3. draw parts i.e states with loose grip so that you don't need to erase it again and again

4. don't try to draw exactly same as the printed map, you'll sure get irritated...

1 . make two triangular like shapes to make jammu kashmir
2. make a coming out rectangle of coming out boundary of rajasthan
3. make a mouth of lion to make gujrat
4. then make a gap rectangle to make nepal and then. a small rectangle to make sikkim
5. there's nothing to make seven sisters pls learn the shape yourself
5. then take the lines of gujrat and west bangal to a triangular meeting point kanya kumari.

now your rough sketch of your india is ready.
note .don't forget to make some inner gaps for mumbai ans other costal areas.
and your drawings will not be too good but teacher will not reduce marks....they need some rough sketches.....you'll get frustrated if you try to make similar and try to copy single thing from a printed map....
