1. Refer to more reference books, especially Oswaal books.
2. Practice a lot of sums, atleast 5-10 sums per day.
3. If you make mistakes while preparing previous year papers, try to figure it out.
4. Try to know basic calculating methods like finding square roots because it helps you to save time in exams and I knew I have lost mark as I did not stick to it.
5. Overall, seek help from teachers and study in a group of 2 or 3 if you are struck in a problem.
6. For 1 marks, refer to the summary sections of each chapter. Basic concept must be known and applied.
7. For any lessons of geometry (especially Triangles and its congruence), mention the Given, Prove that, Proof, and especially diagram.
8. For graph, be careful at pointing ordinates correctly with where they meet at x and y axis. Mention scale, x and y axis.
9. For questions regarding quadrilaterals and properties, mention the reason in a bracket.
10. Most of the question has at least 1/2 to 1 mark for conclusion according to CBSE marking scheme! So do not forget to mention it.
11. Try solving other questions from question banks from internet too... Focus mainly on NCERT Textbook and NCERT Exemplar.

Practice question, UNDERSTAND THE CONCEPT. Thant is sufficient for getting good marks.
