how to expand sin^2 (2x) in terms of sin and cos

Sin^2(2x)=(2sinxcosx)^2
=4sin^2xcos^2x

Solution....

sin^2 [2x]
= [sin (2x)]^2
we know that -
sin2x = 2 sinx cosx.
So,
= [2 Sinx cosx ]^2
= 4 sin^2 x cos^2 x.
Or

4 \:  {sin}^{2} x \:  {cos}^{2} x
Hence , Proved
