It is a very important organ of human body. Heart is a pump which is in shape of a cone. It lies between the lungs and in our chest. It's walls are formed of cardiac muscles. These muscles contract and relax tirelessly throughout the life. Because of cardiac muscles,the heart beats continuously and pumps blood into the arteries to be transported to all the parts of the body.
Our heart is four chambered.It haa two articles and two ventricles.The heart is divided into two halves by a thick muscular septum.
Arteries carries pure or oxygenated blood except pulmonary artery.On the other hand vein carries deoxygenated blood except pulmonary vein.
