4x2-9x+2
= 4x2-(8+1)x+2
= 4x2-8x-x+2
= 4x(x-2)-1(x-2)
= (4x-1)(x-2)

multiple coeff.. of x^2 with const :>4 X 2=8
so 8 is product and 9 is sum 4x^2-8x-1x +2=0
4x(x-2)-1(x-2)=0
(4x-1)(x-2)=0
x=1/4;;x=2
