how to factorise: kx^2+4x+4

In kx²+4x+4
k is a constant.
Therefore, kx²+4x+4 can be written as x²+4x+4

x²+4x+4 = x²+2x+2x+4
              = x(x+2)+2(x+2)
              = (x+2)(x+2)
