Factorisation is a process in which we have to simplify an equation. They can be expressed as the product of two or more products.

It has three methods :

1. Taking out common monomial
ab + ac = a (b + c)
a is the common monomial here

2. Grouping

${x}^{2} + xy + xz + yz$

$x(x + y) + z(x + y)$

$(x + z)(x + y)$

3. Difference of two squares

$36 {p}^{2} - 49 {q}^{2}$

${(6p)}^{2} - {(7q)}^{2}$

$(6p + 7q)(6p - 7q)$
