How to find 2π is rational or irrational number?

You need to be familiar with the  properties for this. As you know that pi is irrational.

There is one property which says:if an irrational number is being multiplied with a rational number then the resultant is always irrational.

Another can be:As pi has a  non terminating and non repeating decimal expansion therefore if it is multiplied with any rational number which is 2 in this case. 

The answer will always be irrational.
