How to find 2's complement of a negative number?

first write the number in position for eg if (-13) is the number signed binary would be 11101 the first bit is sign bit .
so first write positive 13 that is 01101 now take 1's complement 10010 now add 1 to the result 10011. so 2's complement of (-13) would be 10011.
