Hey there,
If you want to find a particular you just have to click on an icon on the right of notification icon and there will be an option coming "Search for friends" write username in that and you will be able to search.

Sir i m using the brainly app and there are 3 option on the top , namely ask, answer and me.
Actually a particular person cant be searched in brainly app the method told in answer is for brainly desktop version

You are provided with function the top bar and those are for " INBOX , NOTIFICATIONS & INVITATIONS "
Go and click to the invitation bar and you can find an option written as " search friends "
